We are delighted that you have chosen to stay with us. To ensure you have a pleasant and comfortable stay, please take a moment to review our general delivery terms, which outline our policies and procedures.
General Policy:
As a registered hotel guest, you accept full responsibility for any breakages, loss or damage caused to the Property directly or indirectly caused by you, or by any other occupant/guest you host at the property. The hotel reserves the right to recover any damages from the payment secured upon arrival. Where the payment is not sufficient to cover the cost of the applicable charges, the Guest agrees to pay the balance within 7 days of being notified in writing of the payment required by the Hotel.
Noise Policy:
At Hotel X Toronto, we strive to provide a peaceful and comfortable environment for all of our guests. Please respect the quiet hours of our hotel, which are from 10 PM to 8 AM. During these hours, please keep noise levels to a minimum and refrain from disturbing other guests. If you need assistance or have any concerns, please feel free to contact the Front Desk.
Non-Smoking/Vaping Policy:
Hotel X Toronto is a non-smoking/vaping hotel. Smoking is not permitted in any of our guest rooms, public areas, or outside spaces. CAD 500 per room will be charged as recovery fee for guests who do not comply.
Room Capacity:
Our guest rooms are designed to accommodate a certain number of guests for each room type as specified on our website and at the time of booking. For fire safety reasons and to ensure that all guests have a comfortable stay, we ask that you do not exceed the maximum occupancy for your room. If exceeded by your request, the hotel shall not be responsible for any discomfort that you or your guests might experience during your stay. Private gatherings in a room are not permitted.
Guarantee Policy:
A valid credit card is required at the time of booking to guarantee your reservation. The corresponding amount will be authorized or charged based on the cancellation and deposit terms indicated at the time of booking. The guest must provide the credit card along with 1 piece of government-issued photo identification at the time of check-in.
Cancellation and No-Show Policy:
It is important to know the cancellation policy for the booking made. Cancellation policies may vary based on stay dates, packages, promotions, and seasonality or contract terms. Final cancellation terms will be verified at the time of booking.
Guests who do not arrive on the scheduled date of arrival and have not cancelled their reservation according to the cancellation policy will be charged the full amount of their reservation booked.
Changes made to stay dates or the length of stay may result in a rate and policy change.
Payment Policy:
We require the guest’s credit card in order to confirm all reservations; debit cards will not suffice for confirming a reservation. If the credit card provided and guest name do not match, the reservation will not be confirmed and may be released at the discretion of the hotel.
Pre-paid Reservations:
Certain rates, packages or promotions have deposit requirement (pre-payment). This deposit must be paid by the guest's own credit card and must be presented at the time of check-in.
Refund Policy:
Should a refund be issued for a previous payment, please note that an Administration Fee of 5% will apply.
Payment Options:
Visa, Master or Amex credit cards are the preferred mode of payment. Pin & Chip entry is required upon check-in. When a prepaid booking is made, the same credit card used for the pre-payment is required to be presented upon check-in and go through the Pin & Chip process.
Third-party payment:
Should there be any charges that will be covered by a third party and not of the guest, this can be arranged in advance through secured online credit card payment link, interac transfer or bank wire transfer depending on the arrival date. The payment processing time for each may differ; it is the guests’ responsibility to ensure that the hotel receives the payment prior to the check-in date. In the event the hotel does not receive the payment prior to check-in, the hotel reserves the right to cancel the reservation or request a new payment to be made prior to check-in.
Check-In and Check-Out Policy:
The minimum Check-in Age is 18. Guests below 18 years of age or under must be accompanied by the registered adult at check-in to occupy a room.
Check-in time is 3 PM and check-out time is 12 PM.
Early check-in and late check-out requests are subject to room availability. Should you wish to guarantee an early check-in or late check-out, an additional fee will be charged.
Lost & Found Policy:
In the unfortunate event that you do lose an item; we will make every effort to locate the missing item and return it to you. To assist us in doing this efficiently, we need you to report your missing item online at ileftmystuff.com. Please note that lost and found items will be held for a maximum of 30 days. Any items not claimed after this period will be discarded.
Pet Policy:
Hotel X Toronto is a pet-friendly hotel. However, we ask that you adhere to our pet policy, which requires that all pets be well-behaved, vaccinated, and leashed at all times while in the hotel. A maximum of two pets (dogs and cats only) are permitted in a room as long as they are not left unattended in the room at any time. In the event that a complaint is received due to loud or excessive barking or noises, the hotel will be obliged to request the guest to handle the situation. A pet fee of CAD 100 per room will be charged per stay. In preparation of arranging your pet-friendly room prior to your arrival, an electronic pet form will be sent to you via email.
Parking Policy:
Valet parking and self-parking are available at Hotel X Toronto. Rates are subject to change and can be found on our website or by contacting the Front desk.
Eviction: in the unfortunate event that any of the following instances occur, the hotel security may reluctantly be obliged to evict the guest(s).
- Disorderly conduct
- Nonpayment
- Using the premises for an unlawful purpose or act
- Bringing items that could be dangerous for other people to the hotel premises
- Failing to register as a guest
